Philips Sonicare For KidsSonic electric toothbrush

12yo and 8yo use this product. 12yo is ok to use. I need to check after brush teeth for 8yo. His teeth are crooked and there are some uncleaned teeth.

My kid love the toothbrush. Now always took the initiative to brush teeth as she can play with the cute creatures on the iPad

The interactive app make my child look forward to brushing her teeth. No more over brushing from her as well. Great product, highly recommended.

Handling and design is great. Similar brush head compare to oral b. My daughter has been using oral B but she didn't like the circular motion. However she love this vibration motion and the brush head mimics traditional toothbrush unlike oral b circular shape. The app is a good encouragement for children who have bad habit and do not brush properly for 120-150 sec. There are review by parents who mentioned this takes too long to complete brushing, however please be aware the duration needed to properly brush one teeth is 120 sec or longer. Another thing for consideration, although the base price for the toothbrush is slightly higher, the replacement brush heads is much cheaper then oral b. Verdict: I have confirm my purchase for this toothbrush.

My Wife and me were already using the Philips HX9352 DiamondClean Sonicare Electric Toothbrush before we chanced upon this campaign. The sonicare technology really cleans our teeth like a visit to the dentist everyday! This cleanliness is already guaranteed even before we opened the package. Our 2 daughters just do not brush their teeth. Even after multiple persuasion, rewards, they still don't want to brush their teeth. The HX6321/03 was wonderful...... the most attractive part to my children were the array of stickers. They were initially not too impressed, but after seeing the sticker and the detachable cover, they were drawn to the colourful feathery monsters characters. As the box only came with 1 toothbrush, I actually tried to place my extra piece of the adult sonic care tooth brush head with this, and it worked. So that this piece became really useful for my 7 year old and 11 year old daughters. Strongly recommended.

We had used a Sonicare for us parents and were happy with the performance and hence got the Sonicare kids for our son. If we ask our son what he likes about the brush, he would say the best thing about it is the app. Yes, The brush comes with an app to be used along with the brushing and that was a super plus plus for our kid. He would diligently follow the instructions on the app and was even encouraged to brush twice as the app monitors usage through bluetooth and rewards good performance. The brush had made a daily draggy chore into a playful activity that kids look out for. The brush also comes with several options for stickers to be used on the handle and hence thats another attraction as it becomes personalised. If there are multiple kids in the family then they can have their own colour/ designed brush. Of course Philips has gone one more step ahead by giving extra stickers for the kids to enjoy and use on other things - we use it as rewards. From parents perspective there are indeed certain things that we find attractive. We find the grip comfortable in small hands and the small head is manoeuvrable inside the mouth to reach the corners. The battery also lasts for a long time on a single change. We have been using it for a couple of weeks now on a single charge. The brush also comes with two speed levels for different level of brushing. The charging is extremely simple as for all sonicate products which is to just put the brush on its stand. The unique shape also allows to be kept horizontally without rolling away. And from a maintenance perspective we can also change the batteries from the bottom which is easily removable for adults. The brush head comes with its own cover which is another plus for us from a hygiene perspective. Overall our kid is happy that he get another toy to play and we as parents are happy that this is one playing habit that we won't regret as it makes him more hygienic and his teeth more healthy. We would definitely recommend this for parents who are wondering how to kale their kids brush their teeth on their own and that too with liking and initiation.

As parents, we used to chase after my kids to brush their teeth, and they could have brushed for a little 5 seconds and done. That obviously doesn't make it clean. I've tried an alternative brand electric tooth brush for them, it didn't last long with battery quickly ran out and the they ran out of interest. I've gotten 2 units of the sonicare for kids for my 2 boys, and I wish I could have get it earlier. What make a difference is that this tooth brush really cleans! There are a few things that I like about this product: 1. The tooth brush high vibration speed, this really cleans up, it is not like any ordinary too brush, it literally brush and polish your teeth, even stains that is hard to brush away by normal tooth brush. My kids can literally tell me that it is very clean, which I think it sets that standard that they know what is really proper outcome of tooth brushing is. 2. Quality of the product itself, it is fully water proof and with builtin rechargeable batteries. Each charge can last for at least 2 weeks (haven't pass a month mark of usage as of now), and there is little worry about it being damage with mishandling by the kids, there is rubber grip and it steadily stands or stays flat. Probably the only way to damage it is to throw it with force, hard enough. 3. The bluetooth synchronized app gave the proper brushing routine (right area with right timing) and also the gamification with rewards in the app to keep them engaged. From day 1 till now, they've been willingly brushing their teeth without being asked to, it is like gaming time for them. The in app education on teeth cleanliness and visual animated guide really help to guide them to brush for all necessary areas in the mouth. (aren't sure how long this will last, but by then they would have used to the brushing routine, which is what they really need). Overall, having myself a sonicare (adult) user, to me this is a very good product that I wish I could have it when young, and for parents, it really worth the money to get for your kids (please take into consideration of the cost of visits to dentist due to bad brushing habits, a rotten teeth?). The only complaint I have is that it came with just one brush head for the version that was sold in Singapore.

I had a hard time trying to convince my 7-year old daughter to use an electric toothbrush. Philips Sonicare scores well on two counts. 1. Its technology is not as noisy as the rotating type and therefore makes it less intimidating for kids. 2. The colourful cartoons and app that comes with it make it fun and educational for kids to brush their teeth. Everything about the toothhbrush is perfect except for these few points: - It is not easy to find refills for the brush head. Unlike the other leading brand, the brush head replacements are not readily availble at Watson's or Guardians. This is a big headache. -The brush head is attached to the body too tightly. It is not easy for a kid to remove the brush head to wash after every brush. Being a toothbrush meant for kids, I expected something more kid-friendly. -The app is a very cool thing to make kids excited about brushing their teeth. But the app could be better I feel. There was not instruction on how to connect the toothbrush to the app via bluetooth. It took some trial and error. Next, the app seems to forget that the kid needs to apply toothpaste on the brush before brushing. The only way to connect via Bluetooth is to turn on the toothbrush. If you apply the toothpaste before turning on the toothbrush, the toothpaste would be shaked off the brush while waiting for the connection to be made. By the time the toothbrush is connected, there is not much toothpaste left. If you turn it on to connect before applying the toothpaste, you have to somehow apply the toothpaste while the toothbrush is turned on. This is no easy feat as the toothpaste will splatter. If you turn it off to apply the toothpaste, it will disconnect. Philips needs to upgrade and update the app! There are the only faults I can find. Otherwise it is a almost perfect product.

Its so much easier to make my kid brush his teeth. It scared him a little bit in the beginning but after that it became easier and he is now brushing his teeth without me telling him. The stickers are awesome because you can change it anytime and he loves it. To charge it is easy aswell since you just need to put it on the charging base and wait for it to fully charge like a normal phone. Its so user friendly that after opening it you can assemble it immediately. Even my kid knows how to use it now but on low speed since he is not used to the high speed yet. The down side of it is that if you leave him alone he will play while brushing his teeth so it will take him ages before he finishes. But for me the best thing about this is that i felt his teeth is more cleaner and making kids brush their teeth fun and enjoyable.

She had so much fun personalizing her toothbrush, and she was so happy jumping around and dancing while waiting to start brushing. Sparkly - the character in the app is super cute and my daughter loves unlocking gifts after brushing her teeth. She is so happy to brush her teeth morning and night, when it's always been a struggle to get her to do it in the past. Such a clever idea that brought our child so much delight! The toothbrush itself is of course great, Sonicare toothbrushes always are which is why our entire family uses them. They clean our teeth and gums exceptionally well so I know it's the best toothbrush I can possibly get for my daughter. Two thumbs up for the Kids Sonicare version together with the Sparkly app. I'm a big fan!
