The only word of criticism is that the "How to use" instructions were not totally clear.

I have owned a few trimmers and this one is by far the best. It does and excellent job and it is SAFE. I would recommend this trimmer to anyone who wants an excellent nose trimmer.

I have used this product for over 15 years. It gets EVERY hair easily & quickly. I have never had a problem. After using while running drop some liquid soap on the blades & rinse under water while running. Shake water off put away. My wife also uses this product.

The battery lasts for a long time but not forever. When the user hears the motor slow down (which requires some memory of what it was like when the battery was new), then the user should replace the battery. I suspect this was the main problem with negative reviews that say it didn't cut, because it does cut quite well. Another issue could be technique. You have to rotate the device in the nostril or ear for the blades to reach all around. If you hear it still biting into hair even though you don't see any hair left in that space, it is cutting already severed strands. Finally, wash out the nostril or ear to eliminate cut hair. This might seem like common sense, but in the mirror you won't see this cut hair. You will see it on the washcloth with which you clean. I've used other designs and they did not work well. This design works very well. Very much appreciate the eyebrow combs that fit over the cutting head, for cutting eyebrows at even length. As for packaging, use kitchen shears on any plastic packaging, not your unaided hands. Cutting is always better than tearing.

Removes nose hair perfectly. Absolutely no pain. Hairs cut down to their root. Great design and durability. Inexpensive. Perhaps the best product of all Philips products.

I like the way this product works and the ease of use. I would tdefinetly recommend this product.

simple to use and it does a good job for the money spent.

Just for all day use and when away on vacation love the features and be able to carry it inn your pocket.

The cutting blades are such that the cut is very close and there is no pull of hair.
