This product really helped me to tidy up my beard and besides it can also shave the hair with good results

6 years this has been a great grooming kit unfortunately the combs broke there are no replacements available. Now bought a series 5000 but not as good. Hair combs not short enough

[Employee of philipsglobal] It's really nice that works wireless but with the cord so you don't have to worry for the battery, as long as you have access to a socket, whenever battery dies, just plug it in and continue your work...many scales, easy to hold, also washable which makes it even practical!!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.

How I said in the title - excellent battery lifetime and fantastic design! And also it has fantastic attachments, especially that wide trimmer attachment it makes my weekly routine of shaving my head twice faster and twice easier compared to my previous trimmer. My only bad remark for this product is too much vibrations. At the end of shaving process my arm starts to hurt a little bit.. All in all great product and I would recommend it to everyone!!

This electric trimmer is fab! Does the job whether you want a close shave or to any length there is an attachment for everything! So easy to clean, battery life is amazing and charging time Is only one hour so its brilliant! Can't ask for any more at the price i got it for! Very pleased and have bought many other philips electricals after this product!

I recently purchased this grooming kit after spending several hours online looking at the large selection of similar grooming kits. I have to say this is such a well designed and easy to use item, charges up fast and I like the fact the charge light tells you when its ready to go unlike some other brands who have no charge indicators. I have used this to do a fantastic job trimming and shaping my beard, took a few minutes to get use to holding the trimmer but the results are perfect and the smaller foil shaver I thought was a joke but in reality its great for detail shaving in areas where the razor would be hard to use. I haven't as yet tried the head clipper attachment but it looks like it will do a good job and both the head and beard trimmer guides lock securely at the position required unlike when I used my friends trimmer and the guard slipped whilst trimming my beard. A great product from Philips that I highly recommend to anyone in the market for a multi purpose grooming kit, and not forgetting the well made clipper heads that lock securely onto the main unit.

The product works as I expected and wanted it to and was extremely surprised and pleased at the length of battery life as that saves on costly electricity to charge often. Trimmed hair tends to gather inside the trimmer that a brush (which didn't come with it but did with my Philips Shaver) doesn't seem to reach far enough to clean out all of the hair. I can probably rinse out the hair with water but at that time wasn't convenient as I needed to reassemble the trimmer and had no place for the head to dry. A small issue compared to the overall product performance.

I have had this trimmer for almost two years now, and it hasn't let me down yet. The battery has kept its charge all along and I haven't noticed any chance of it slowing down. I love all the different attachments for this device, I can go from trimming my beard and head to shaving and shaping my facial hair in no time. It does everything! Very pleased and would recommend to anyone looking for a simple compact trimmer.
